Masdiag Laboratory joins the OptimaMind consortium — an EU Horizon Europe-funded international collaboration investigating lifestyle interventions for brain health and cognitive decline prevention.
The OptimaMind project is the result of a strong international collaboration, bringing together leading experts from Poland, Italy, Austria, Estonia, and the United Kingdom.
Supported by the EU Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme (GA N° 101095426) and national funding agencies under the ERA4Health Partnership, the research brings together top European institutions.
Together, the consortium is investigating the potential of lifestyle-based interventions for improving brain health and preventing cognitive decline. The project combines biomarker analysis with nutritional and behavioural research to develop evidence-based strategies for healthy ageing.
Masdiag's contribution centres on providing advanced biomarker testing capabilities — including fatty acid profiling, vitamin D, and homocysteine analysis from dried blood spot — to support the project's clinical and population studies.
